These folders contain photographs taken at the ACM Conference on the History of Workstations (Palo Alto, CA, January 1986). Some of these photos were used in the book Goldberg edited called "A History of Personal Workstations," which collected papers from that meeting. People in the photos include Bill Spencer, Alan Newell, Doug Ross, Gordon Bell, Severo Ornstein, Paul Curtis, John Shoch, Ed McCreight, J. C. R. Licklider, Jim McKenney, Larry Roberts, Glen Culler, Doug Engelbart, Chuck Thacker, Alan Kay, Bob Taylor, Chuck House, Peter Denning, Jan Schultz, and others. The photos were taped to pieces of paper and captioned, but some of the photos are missing.
