Marketing brochure for the Digital Computer Controls, Inc. D-112 12-bit MSI computer incorporating MSI solid-state, TTL integrated circuitry into one of the lowest-cost, full-scale digital computers for general purpose applications. Design emphasis was given to compatibility with existing competitive machines (PDP/8 series computers). Unique characteristics of the D-112 include the smallest configuration for 32,768 word core memory; simplified mainenance procedures to to advanced packaging and console layout; utlra-stable core memory capable of performance in varying temperature environments; tested MTBF in excess of 10,000 hours; 1.2 microsecond memory cycle time; printed circuit bussing technique in lieu of back panel wiring; and spare plug-in slots to accommodate customer interafaces for special systems applications.
