System Requirements
A Macintosh computer with a 68020 processor or higher is recommended. With System 7, 5 MB of RAM are required and 6 MB are recommended. With System 6, 4 MB of RAM are required and 5 MB are recommended. A hard disk with at least 10 megabytes of free space is required to complete the installation. However once installed, Mathcad requires approximately 8 megabytes. A floating point unit (FPU) is not required, but strongly recommended. Macintosh System 6.0.5 or later.
