These folders contain materials related to various elected positions Bourne held between 1968 and 1972 for the American Documentation Institute, the American Society for Information Science, and the Special Libraries Association, three General Corporation-sponsored studies conducted by the National Agricultural Library (NAL) of the Bibliography of Agriculture (BofA): assembled data, overlapping coverage, and the indexing of the BofA compared to 15 other secondary sources. Also contained are draft verions of a manuscript to be published by John Wiley & Sons titled, "Cost Analysis of Library Operations" that was eventually shelved.
