The data processing and publishing industries have been seprated by important matters such as print resolution/quality; economic transmission, manipulation, and storage of complex images; color rendition/quality; throughout and output finishing requirements; etc. The technologic basis for thisseparation is fast disappearing; and Digital, because of its premier position in networked systems, is perfectly positioned to exploit this opportunity to put optimum degree of publishing power in the hands of all those we need it.
