Artifact Details

Description

Object is a box open on the front, with 10 slots for IBM plugboards. The slots were originally numbered in white with K20 through K29, but the numbers for the first seven slots have been overwritten with marker pen as 26 through 32.
On the inside of the cabinet, there is a red paper label reading, "NOTE For IBM #901 Panel use filler pieces as is in bottom channels. For IBM #911 Panel use Cabinet by removing filler pieces."
"WRIGHT and COMPANY, Inc. WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS" is printed on a small metal label at the front of the cabinet along the bottom edge.
