The object is the core unit in a test kit for testing the components in the Apple MacIntosh (Mac) computer. This tester was initially used by Apple Computer only and subsequently made available to Apple dealers and still later made available to other technicians who desired to purchase it. The object has locations for two test modules. This example has modules labeled "SCSI HD TEST V.1.0" for Apple SCSI hard disk drives and "CPU Test Vol.1, v.1.1.1.
