Description

Electronics was a bimonthly trade journal first published by McGraw-Hill in April 1930. The subtitle “The International Magazine of Electronics Technology” appeared in the April 26, 1971 issue and disappeared sometime after 1981. Published under the title “Electronics” until 1984, the title was changed temporarily to “Electronics Week”, but reverted to the original title in 1985. In 1988 the publication was sold to the Dutch company Verenigde Nederlandse Uitgeverijen (VNU), which sold it to Penton Publishing the next year. Publication ceased in 1995. An April 19, 1965 article by Intel co-founder Gordon Moore outlined what came to be known as Moore's Law.
