The object is an acoustic modem. On the front are two blue lights labeled, "CARRIER" and "POWER." Two acoustic coupers are on the top. They were flexibly mounted on foam which has deteriorated. A slide switch projects from the front face with three positions, "OFF", "HALF", and "FULL." On the back is a DB25 connector and a Molex connector.
