Bernard Peuto's personal papers and reference collection. The papers include a range of materials: personal diaries, calendars, and other notebooks, his personal files, audio recordings, 35mm slides, as well as a large range of reference materials he collected to support his work. The papers relate to: his time as: a PhD student at U.C. Berkeley (~1972-1974); a computer architect at Amdahl Corp. (1973-1976); a computer architect and executive at Zilog, Inc. (1976-1982); a founder, chairman, and president at ViewTech Inc. (1982-1985); a Vice President and General Manager at Sun Microsystems, Inc. (1987-1991); a consultant in business strategy and litigation support (1985-1987 and 1991-2007); acting president at MicroDesign Resources (1997-1999); co-founder of PhotoTablet/Fotiva (2000-2001); and as a founding member of the Board of Trustees of the Computer History Museum and member of its Executive Committee (ca. 1996-2016).
