These folders consist of materials related to the University of California Union Catalog Supplement (UCUCS), a project collecting all catalog records produced by all nine University of California campuses between the years of 1963 to 1967, which was headed by the UC's Institute for Library Research (IRL) department. Also contained are documents created during Bourne's time as Workshop Consultant for the University of California, Santa Cruz campus's summer series of various library and information science workshops, and a study and meeting of the UC Computer Network Study committee that includes an evaluation of Eric online file searching procedures.
