Kohli, FC oral history

96 years old Faqir Chand Kohli is a distinguished Indian industrialist. He is widely recognized as the Father of the Indian Software Industry and a Founding icon of the modern Indian Technology business. He received his undergraduate degrees from Punjab University, Lahore and Queen's University, Canada and an M.S.EE from MIT. He worked as a leading executive in several Tata companies and founded Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of the largest IT Services companies in the world. He has won numerous distinguished awards including the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian honor, for his contribution to the Indian Software Industry. Even at this age Mr. Kohli comes to his office daily.
