Vaxforms is Digital's next generation forms product. It is a powerful on-line forms development and run-time system based on a proposed ANSI/ISO standard for a Form Interface Management System (FIMS). Based on the underlying principleof sepration of form and function, the VAXforms architecture (as a direct implementation of the FIMS) allows for support of multiple classes of devices technologies and evolving user interface customer application requirements well through the 1990's.
VAXforms will supplant VAX FMS, VAX TDMS and other existing forms environments and, over time, become the corporate uer interface environment for all applications and tools requiring the structured human interface that forms provides.
