A taped broadcast of the November 16th Comdex breakfact meeting, "Eye opener '95", sponsored by VAR Business, Computer Reseller News, and Digital Equipment Corporation, will be aired on Thursday, November 17.

Digital's Multia Multiclient Desktop, announced last week, will be unveiled to VARs and resellers at this event. Speakers will include Kurtis Franklin, VAR business; Michael Goulde, Patty Seybold Group; Brian Fitzgerald, Vice President Video Products, Digital; and Patrick Sullivan, Vice President Components and Peripherals Merchandising Group, Digital.

An audience of 1200 VARs and resellers representing over 500 companies are expected to attend to hear about Multia, a revolutionary combination of Digital's Alpha technolgy with Microsoft Windows NT and a highly optimized X11. R6 server. An example of the positive reactions from press and analysts: "I was just telling the workstation people that Digital needs a low-end Alpha workstation with Windows NT running on it at this price.
