David Levy worked at Apple Computer from 1978 to 1993 as Input Device /Ergonomics Engineer. There he was responsible for the ergonomics of the
first 5 Powerbook laptops, managed the development of the first
touchpad, and conceived and implemented the “keyboard-at-back” laptop
architecture that is now standard.
In 1997 David earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and
later taught a class on humanitarian demining. While at MIT he received
the Lemelson MIT prize for student inventors and by now he holds 21
patents.
From 1999 to 2001 David was Director of Invention Development at Arthur
D. Little.
In 2001 David founded Digit Wireless to commercialize his "passive
chording" mobile keyboard invention and led the company until its sale
in 2010.
Since 2013 Davis is CEO of biotech company OH2 Laboratories.
