Description

The object is essentially a square box with a sloping top.

The bottom of the object is divided into two vertical sections.

The left vertical section contains two slightly recessed rectangles. The top rectangle has two horizontal sections. The top section is composed of two rectangles side by side. The rectangle on the left has slightly raised white letters saying Yamaha, Music Computer, Ordinateur Musical, Model C1, and the powwer required. Below is a white stick-on label with the serial number. The rectangle on the right has slightly raised white letters giving the FCC ID, YAMAHA CORPORATON, MADE IN USA, and FCC information. The section below the two rectangles has UL information. The bottom section of left vertical section has a warning in English and French.

The right vertical section has has raised black letters in a slightly recessed rectangle giving a warning and caution in three languages: Japanese, English and French.

The top or the object has a horizontal section and a sloping secion that can be raised by a slot on the front. The sloping section says YAMAHA. The horizontal section has a series of raised and recessed rectangles the same with as the sloping section. When the sloping section is raised, it reveals a LCD screen and a keyboard. The screen is 9 X 5 3/4 inches. To each side of the sceen is a column of raised and recessed rectangles. Below the screenis a series of 6 lights with labels: Ext CRT, Disk in Use Upper Lower, Caps Lock Scroll Lock, and Num Lock.
