Bob Bemer's memoirs folders collect documents related to his various activities and accomplishments over the course of his professional career, in addition to documenting moments in the history of computing that were relevant to Bemer and his colleagues and contemporaries. Contained here are materials he used for his 1982 article, "Computing Prior to FORTRAN," such as interviews and narratives of those involved in working with the program, a list of its early implementations, an annotated bibliography of publications concerning Fortran, and a reference manual.
