This object consists of a printing telegraph on a wooden base. The telegraph mechanism is largely brass and glass. There are round inlaid labels in the base. The clockwork and galvanometer mechanism are covered with beveled glass panels. The base has inlaid wooden (?) strips that appear to indicate electrical connections between many points on the base.
