Description

An early Ethernet device, this transceiver amplified signals coming to and from each computer on a network and passed these signals on via its "vampire clamp" connection to a common "thick-coax" Ethernet cable to which all computers were connected. Unit has DB15-P AUI connector, LED, and vampire clamp for attaching 802.3-compliant coax (10 Base 5).
