The record contains a Auto-typist. There is a large paper tape reel visible through at clear plastic, hinged cover, at the top of the machine. Along the paper there is a guide. The guide has spaces for numbers, letters and commands. To the right of the paper tape is a blue control panel with three dials, two on/off switches, and buttons for numbers 1-30. On the desk is an opening with flat metal rods, which are connected via metal spacing bars. To the left of those rods are switches for "Switch" and "Select." There is a standard female American power plug on the desk. At the back of the machine is an Auto-typist metal name plate and three metal venting slots. On the lower half of the machine at the back there is a manufacturer's information plate. There is also a large metal panel with grating.
