While there is no indication that Heath assigned the model number H-1 to this analog computer, this has been a commonly used name. In the original product literature, the cabinet is model ES-400 and other components also carry the ES prefix. No name is given for the whole computer, but different configurations can be ordered with names like Full Component Group C. The acquisition records from The Computer Museum in 1987 for this object identify it as H-1 or H1.
