This object has a domed crank with a single screw or pin securing the crank to the shaft and with the screw or pin aligned with the crank. What appears to be the driving slot of this screw is on the end under the crank handle. There are 6 "silver" studs in the top plate of the calculator, between the crank and the readout numbers.
