Description: The DEC Debugging Tape (DDT) was based on FLIT an earlier debugging program written by MIT professor Jack Dennis and translated in 1964 for the PDP-1 by a group of students at MIT, including Alan Kotok. DDT allowed users to find errors in the program while the program was in use. It is the first program for the PDP-1 created at MIT and donated to Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).
