Description: One of the earliest games programmed on the PDP-1 was Kalah, an ancient Near Eastern board game widely played in Africa. The Kalah program was developed by Roland Silver of Bolt Beranak and Newman (BBN), Like many of the programs developed for the PDP-1, Kalah was distibuted by DECUS (the Digital Equipment Computer Users Society).
