Gary Matsushita joined the Computer History Museum with over 17 years of experience in real estate and facilities management. His range of expertise crosses over into all areas of corporate G&A infrastructure, including Facilities, Finance, Purchasing, IS&T, and Human Resources.

Prior to joining the Museum, Gary served as the Worldwide Director of Real Estate & Facilities for OpenTV, Inc., a San Francisco-based interactive television software provider, where he managed the company's international and domestic lease portfolios, capital assets, and facilities operations. Prior to this, he was the Senior Manager of Facilities Services for Apple Computer, Inc. where among his accomplishments he developed the Apple Recycles organization for collection, reuse, recycling, and end-of-life disposition of recyclables & electronic waste at the Cupertino world headquarters, and expanded the program to include Apple's main manufacturing sites in Sacramento, CA and Fountain, CO.

Gary received his Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in History from the University of California, Berkeley and did graduate studies in Mass Communications & Journalism at San Jose State University. Among his hobbies are baseball, photography, world travel, and as much golf as possible.
