Reference & Processing Archivist
As Processing Archivist, Sydney is responsible for describing and arranging the archival collections held by the Computer History Museum. She also coordinates requests for reproduction of archival materials in support of research and exhibitions.
Prior to joining the Computer History Museum, Sydney completed internships at Yosemite National Park, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Blanton Museum of Art. She also served as a fellow with the Dance Heritage Coalition and, most recently, worked at the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History in their Photographic Archives.
Sydney graduated from Stanford University, where she majored in Art History and minored in Dance. She received her Master of Science, Information Studies with a specialization in archives from The University of Texas at Austin. In her spare time, Sydney enjoys yoga, hiking, and sampling new brands of dark chocolate.
