This is a black and white photograph of Seymour A. Papert with a Computer Turtle. It is a round motherboard inside of a clear plastic dome. The device has apparently drawn a crude fish on a piece of paper on the table that Papert is leaning over. Papert has a thick beard and mustache, and long curly hair. He is wearing a white shirt with small drawings on it and is gesturing on either sides of the Turtle. The background is mostly white, but it is an interior photograph. Written on verso side of image in pencil is "Seymour A. Papert and computer turtles July 1973" and "Photo by Susan Pogany MIT Museum"
