Built by Mike Davey, this is a realization of a Universal Turing Machine, a type of computer that can run any program and simulate any other computer. It is composed of a long tape, upon which 1s and 0s are read, written, or erased. Includes two Quartet brand EnduraGlide Dry Erase pens. (One is in its housing for the machine; the other is a spare). Also included is a SanDisk Ultra II 512 mb memory card containing programs and utilities.
