This card punch is mainly mechanical with some relay control. It has a QWERTY keyboard with a numeric keypad to the right. There is a 0.25 horsepower motor on the back of the unit. The input card stack is just above the keyboard. The cards feed front to back and accumulate in a bin on the back of the unit. The punch mechanism appears to punch 45 columns of round holes. There are two scales on the front of the unit. One scale is numbered from 1 to 45. The other is numbered from 1 to 90. A bag of 80 column punched cards made by Gatke Corp. is attached to the unit.
