Dave Cochran was a major contributor to the design and development of the HP-35, Hewlett-Packard's first pocket scientific calculator. Cochran implemented the fundamental algorithms for the calculator's internal calculations as well as contributing to the development of the machine's hardware design and overall architecture. This oral history explores Cochran’s work on the HP-35 as well as several other successful HP products.
