Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms are increasingly being used behind the scenes by companies to make all manner of business decisions. How these algorithms are set up to work is not often visible to people who are guided by them in functions across companies, from HR and finance to sales and more. As the applications expand exponentially, it introduces a whole new set of complex challenges behind automated decisions, such as poor data quality, bias, ignorance, and more. Hand-in-hand with this comes the issue of trust and creation of new trust tools to support greater adoption.Human professionals receive reviews, training, coaching, and are subject to a system of checks and balances to make needed corrections.
