Peter Faulhaber currently (as of 2020) President of FUJIFILM Recording Media U.S.A., Inc, began his career in accounting at BASF AG (Germany) in 1987 and worked his way up thru a series of ever increasingly responsible positions in the computer tape industry at BASF, EMTEC Magnetic GmbH (Germany) and now FUJIFILM.
Mr Faulhaber was interviewed for his knowledge of the computer tape industry as part of the museum’s Storage SIG tape program. He has observed and comments upon the transitions in media technology and the growth of the industry while at the same time the industry participants declined to just two as of 2020.
