"This manual has been prepared to facilitate troubleshooting and maintenance of the III VideoComp-500 System Analog Section , which operates in conjunction with the Programmable Light Source (PLS) to produce images on the face of a CRT.The analog section of the VC-500 consists of nine printed circuit boards mounted on Page (or Plane) 3 in the main bay of the unit. It also includes a Programmable Light Source (PLS), mounted in an adjacent bay, containing a cathode ray tube (CRT), its associated coils and wiring and one additional printed circuit board."
