Description: As a student at MIT, Alan Kotok was an early programmer of the PDP-1. He joined DEC upon graduation and later went on to be the chief architect of the DEC PDP-10 family of computers. Shown here is Kotok writing a sales proposal for the PDP-6 with DEC co-founder Harlan Anderson and Ron Smart in 1964.
