Description

The object consists of the external floppy-disk drive, a detachable power cable, and the original manufacturer's box with two molded foam packaging inserts.. The dimensions are of the drive unit, excluding the attached cable.. The object has the "rainbow checkmark" Amiga logo and the name "Amiga" molded into the lower right-hand corner of the front panel, below the drive door.. The object has the Commodore "C-and-flag" logo molded into the upper right-hand corner of the front panel.. A manufacturer's white cardboard drive-head protector is inserted into the drive.. The free end of the attached cable is terminated with silver metal DB-23-P plug. The Commodore "C-and-flag" logo is molded into two sides of the plug.. There is a DB-23-S connector in the rear panel of the object. It mates with the plug on the free end of the attached cable.. Note that the connectors on the rear panel and on the free end of the attached cable are 23-pin connectors (twenty three), not the more common 25-pin connectors.. There is a white adhesive label affixed to the upper right-hand corner of the front of the outer box with the handwritten notations, "XP1050142" in blue ink.. There is a factory label in the upper right-hand corner of the top of the outer box that reads, "As a special offer, included in this box, Amiga, transformer.". There is a green adhesive North American Van Lines label reading, "Lot No. BC 21013, 198" and a "B" in a circle drawn in black ink on the right-hand side of the outer box.
