Description: This subroutine was developed by Bolt Baranek and Newman (BBN) to display characters on the PDP-1 display monitor. The machine code for this program was originally written by Ben Gurley, the designer of the PDP-1. Like many of the PDP-1 programs, this subroutine was distributed by DECUS (the Digital Equipment Computer Users Society).
