Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) oral history collection

This collection of oral histories, undertaken by Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), comprise interviews with a number of key pioneers of the semiconductor industry. As SEMI aims to preserve the historical perspective on the development of the semiconductor, including equipment, materials, and the industry itself, the Computer History Museum is much honored to host this group of oral histories as an enhancement to its own oral history collection and in support of its overall mission to preserve and present artifacts and stories of the Information Age. Topics include personal histories, founding of and association with semiconductor companies in the United States and abroad, as well as interviewees’ involvement with SEMI.
