Mitch Kapor
For his development of Lotus 1-2-3, the first major software application for the IBM PC.
Mitch Kapor

Mitchell Kapor is President of Kapor Enterprises, Inc., in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He founded Lotus Development Corporation in the early 1980s, where he served as President and CEO. He developed 1-2-3, the first major software application for the IBM PC, along with many other products, including Symphony.

Following that he was CEO of On Technology Corporation and President and Board Member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. He has also served as Adjunct/Visiting Professor at MIT. He received a B.A. degree in psychology from Yale University in 1971 and a Master's degree in psychology from Beacon College in 1978.
